UNCONVENTIONAL NOODS – MELT COSMETICS
Today on the blog I have these lipsticks known as the ‘Unconventional Noods’ collection by Melt Cosmetics.
Melt are company I’ve featured on the blog before, they do fantastic matte lipsticks in an array of alternative colours with a distinctive Vanilla scent to them, and they are vegan too!
Here are my swatches of the lipsticks:
Tomboy is described as a boisterous moss grey with neutral undertones. It has a slightly browner appearance on the skin than it appears in the bullet. Would be lovely for a 90′s look, or paired with Black winged liner and lashings of mascara.
Here is an image of the lipstick on, direct from Melt Cosmetics website.
Voyeur is described as a glazed pecan shade. A creamy, ultra-pigmented lipstick that sets to the perfect matte. I adore this shade in the photo below (from Melts website). I would wear this for a day-time event, for that ‘barely there’ look.
1969, described as an enticing Orange creamsicle hue! That description alone makes me want to eat ice-cream on a sun drenched beach in a bikini catching some rays! It’s a soft summery colour that’s not OTT, suitable for everyday wear throughout the warm months.
Mural is similar to 1969, only darker. Described as a creamy burnt Orange masterpiece in Ultra Matte. I’d be interested in coming up with a makeup look to suit this, burnt orange on the lips isn’t really one you see very often outside of Editorial looks. Pretty though!
Would you rock these ‘Unconventional Noods’?
